Through experience and example, we have seen the suffering citizens of the SFV, and we will not let them be ignored. These are only a few of the projects and events we have planned, and remember, we're always open to new ideas!

Bake Sale for the BTAC

The Burbank Temporary Aid Center is located in West Burbank and is known for their hospitality and a real care for the well-being of the homeless, poor, and working poor citizens in the Los Angeles county. A long time ago, we were in the situation where we needed to go to these people for help, and they did not hesitate one bit. They made one of our darkest days much brighter, and we were so surprised by their efforts, that we swore we would pay them back one day. Saturday, June 30th, 2012, we held a bake sale to raise money for this organization, and had an outstanding outcome! People from everywhere dropped by to donate and get delicious sweets on a hot day. It isn't much, but we raised $202 between 3 people's baking skills and 7 hours of selling. Check out pictures on our new "Photos" page!

Donations for the Animal Shelters

Because our family business involves training and taking care of dogs, we thought our love for animals should not stop there! Many animal shelters around the San Fernando Valley are full of dedicated workers and volunteers that strive to find homes for each creature there. Animals truly are nature's most innocent beings and deserve to be treated with as much love and care as any living human, and the East Valley Animal Shelter recognizes that. Unfortunately, they do not always have the funds to give the pets there what they need, and that is why we are holding a supply drive. Call to donate to us and any new or barely used blanket, crate, leash, collar, bed, toy, or money donation will go straight to the shelter.

Shoes for Shelters

One cold and rainy day in Van Nuys, about a year ago, I witnessed a sad sight. Homeless people are a usual scene in Los Angeles, but I had never seen someone as sad as this tiny elderly woman. She was lugging a shopping cart full of cans and blankets, and was wearing a plastic bag to shield her from the rain. But, the most somber thing about her, was her shoes. The woman was wearing heeled Espadrille sandals, obviously at least 3 sizes too big and clearly found in her scavenges to find any sort of shoe to cover her feet. She could barely walk in them, and had a slight limp. Our thought was "she needs a good pair of boots." Our goal for this project is to go around the neighborhood, collecting any unwanted (good condition) and formal shoes to be donated to the various housing shelters around the county. Contact us!
